Mmmmmmmm.....ale........ it's nice to have a bit of refreshment when you are cooking! What is Simon cooking?
He was making Spanish chicken - chicken thighs, peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, paprika etc with rice. That Adnam's East Green ale is delicious!!
I made almost the identical thing two nights ago! Arroz con Pollo! Sounds like lots of the same ingredients. I am going to post the recipe to Foodbuzz. That's a nice hearty meal when it's chilly.
I know I saw your blog entry and thought what a coincidence!
