We had sausage and mashed root vegetables, with carrots, cauliflower and roasted onion gravy for dinner last night. The gravy took a little time but it was worth it in the end.

When I saw the photo I thought you might be preparing Toad in the Hole.
I am sure that I've done photos of toad in the hole somewhere - I shall go and look for them!
