This morning we walked down to Horrid Hill at the country park. The tide was coming. The birds were singing and the cold wind blew the cobwebs right out to sea.
Snipped and snapped on my Nokia E71.

Hi. I tried and tried to post comments to your latest photos in Snipped and Snapped but it won't let me!! Drove me mad today at work. I could load your web page sometimes, not all, but none of the photos came up. That was anyone's blog - not just yours. Damn computer guys at work - arrggh.

Anyway, here is the comment:

Nice snaps. You look good in pink. Why is it called Horrid Hill?
I could get your web page to load today at work but the photo links were broken :( I couldn't wait to see.

I'm fairly sure it's called Horrid Hill Tina because they docked a prisoner of war ship there ... Napoleonic war I believe. Now I've said that some history boffin will probably track down this comment and come up with the "real" answer!!
