I spend most of my lunchtimes with the challenging children, calm little gatherings away from the bulk of pupils so that they can go back into the class and concentrate for the afternoon. Last week I got them started on some simple embroidery stitches on binka - yep even the lads - it's non threatening, you get quick results and it's good for fine motor skills. So of course I was made to have a go too ;o)
They were very proud of themselves/their results.

You have the patience of a saint...really. I'm not very good with needlework. Afraid my canvas would be blood spotted!
Actually my second attempt WAS blood spattered Tina, my hands don't deal well with winter!
