He said it would bruise. I didn't exactly ooze sympathy. I feel ever so slightly guilty now!! BUT not THAT guilty ;o) maybe he'll be more careful from now on! Snipped and snapped on my Nokia E71.
Yes, it really does look that bad - he caught it on the car door, leaning in to reach his lunch! He admitted he didn't open the door sufficiently! His fault I say ;o)
I think the corner of the car door "dug in there" - it's the bloody sympathy that he is wanting that kills me!! Me - "OK - you've got a bruise! Let's not talk about it all of the time eh?!?!"
Welsh teacher in exile in England. English husband - which can be murderous during the rugby season. This blog is about all the things I love – family, travelling, music, cooking and recipes, eating in & out with loved ones & friends, France, the Internet, teaching & learning, shopping, reading and new shoes – my online diary of life as I know & almost always love it!

When I saw this bruise, the first thing I said to Mr Mac (after, "Oohya f**ker!") was, "Mind that time James shut the car door on my arm?"
Poor Simon, I totally feel his pain!
I still say that's the face of Jesus up the top of the bruise!
"Oh my goodness - it DOES look like Jesus! St Simon. That is one helluva bruise. He ought to have a nice shot of Bushmills to get over that. one :-)
